And I mean my BFF were uh working at the food stand, and then the guy who is the DJ would play special um like disco songs for us because we like disco.

Oh, right. Well, it's been a it's been a little while. A lot's happened. I think um on your end, when it comes to uh the interactions with the man we've been talking about the last month or two, Ryan Adams.

Okay, well, let me just kind of debrief you. So um, I was having a very manic-y episode where I was obsessed with Ryan Adams because I'd never listened to his music, like because I thought he was Ryan Cabrera. Uh anyway, I did a deep dive into his music, and I love, I still love Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, they're incredible. And there are some like there's some great music that he put out before the New York Times article. Um, so what happened with me in relation to Ryan Adams is that um I took the kids and I to LA uh to meet a friend to go to the Hollywood Bowl and see uh the Moldy Peaches and uh whatever that other band is. Colin Oberst.

Sorry to interrupt. They have a new album, they have a new album that just came out on Friday, and I listened to the first couple tracks. I like it. Well, I thought it was really good. That first song, I feel like, is one that they played at Coachella where he gets really high in his vocals, and it's slow. And you like the slow, I think. Uh, yeah, I mean they do it pretty well, but uh I gotta listen to the whole thing, but it was pretty good, and um, I recognized I think that first song is from that Coachella side, if I'm not mistaken. Well, I'll definitely check it out. Yeah, no, it sounds good to me, yeah.

And uh, my friend Jen Daking, she just is like she it just took us. We didn't do it for uh moldy peaches, but she took us all the way down to the floor of bright eyes, and um, you know, she just walked right in. She's like, That my friend's in the band, whatever. And um, you know, uh, we stayed as long as we could because uh my child it is very sensitive to sound and like lights and just people. So I left a little early with them and let Jen and her son finish the rest. But everything I was hearing was gorgeous. And then Desi sent me a I think she sent me a clip of their yeah, it was uh finale with that had all the good words. So anyway, speaking of concerts, Ryan Adams announced last week that he um is canceling his European tour due to uh bad health and his menier's disease. Um and I get on the Reddit because I can't see the Instagram anymore. So here's the other thing motherfucking Ryan Adams blocked me on Instagram. He made it, he's made it, huh?

He can he took notice. Um I think that's his problem. Like, he he wants to read anything and everything about him. Um, and so I took it kind of personally, and I was sad. Um, and I'll tell you a little bit more about that. Okay, why I took it personally, but then I got on the Reddit and everyone was like, I'm blocked, he blocked me, he blocked me last year, and he unblocked me. So it's something that he he does when he sees or hears something negative, and I believe he saw our clip where Connie was talking some shit about him, right?

Oh no, and so from what I am from what I had seen on Instagram, uh, someone, a manager, had his like instant was controlling the Instagram, and so it would be very little content, and then um all of a sudden, and I was not blocked yet, he started like maniacally posting like a shitload of stories, and then um just being weird. Uh he recently I saw it on YouTube. He writes novels. I had one, and then I was like, don't want anymore. Um, and so his fourth book just came in, and so he's like dancing, just being fucking weird. Um but anyway, uh the Reddit people, it's weird. I can see they're old fans, uh, and they're like uh pissed at his behavior because they miss the old like Ryan Adams with a band. And um I don't know, they're crazy, dude. They're really fucking crazy.

Well, it is tough when you like an artist and uh you know, you think you're you're just waiting for them to like kind of go back to maybe some of the glory days, or at least come out with something worthwhile. And if they're getting a chance, they think to see them live for the first time in a long time, and then that gets taken away from them. People get all in their feelings about stuff like that, and uh, yeah.

I mean, there's a lot of disappointment, yeah. Um, and a lot of hate, and a lot of the most of the comments were uh, like he said, he's canceling the tour, and someone was like, and water is wet, you know, it's the we expect this show.

Oh no, and then there was some like Fox News in the background stuff, so he gone. He gone. Yeah, he's on he's not he's not the same person, and I think that the um you know the New York Times article and the FBI investigation was very, very fucking traumatic for him, sure.

So my brother just got went on a nostalgia trip a couple weeks ago on our text thread, it was talking about little Debbie, and we would just start going, we started going down cream pot, yeah. And we started going down the list of all like what we grew up with and our favorites, and I got a boxing rolls. I got a box of um Star Cr Crunch from the good uh not the goodwill, the uh Dollar General a couple weeks ago, or like a month or so ago. So fucking underrated. But funny story about the old man, he used to deliver magazines, right, and delivery a box truck similar to myself, and in Virginia, and he he would deliver porno mags, right? When those you know good old days, and he has a epic uh stash that we all knew about growing up, and JPX talked to JPX about he's like 90s ladies, 80s, 80s, 90s, yeah. And JPX got them all. He they were gonna trade, they're gonna throw them out when JPX salvaged them. Um, but the old man would trade the porno mags to the snack guys, the snack truck drivers, and we had men when we were like growing boys, uh-huh, preteen teenage years, pantry full of Intamins cakes and fucking little Debbie and hostess and fucking chips. Pretty much what my kids eat at my house, trading porn for snacks.

Um, I felt that he was still beautiful, and I thought, I think in my mind was like, he's crazy, I'm crazy. Uh he, you know, he needs to be taken care of, I need to be taken care of. But if I'm taking care of someone else, I'm not thinking about that, right? But um I do have compassion for the backlash of what happened. I it fucked him up real good, but yeah, now he's more crazy and more angry. Um yeah, it's too bad, you know.

It's we were talking a few weeks ago about people who got uh not saying that he did, but people who got like possibly wrongly me too, and uh because it was some of it is, I think some of it is wave stupid. It was it was a huge, much needed wave throughout the industry or the entertainment industry. But some people, and we mentioned Aziz and Sari didn't really see like he did too much. He was just like a little too forward or something. I don't know, but he's kind of coming back, you know. Like I just saw he's headlining a show and like Madison Square Garden for a benefit for 9-11, and with like really, yeah, all these other not headlining, but he's there with like Pete Davidson and very into the uh American direct, yeah, he's directing movies and stuff.

Like, he said they should take away podcast equipment from you, and um, it was the most shittiest podcast I've ever heard, and you're a fucking stupid, he's called me a stupid bimbo. Oh wow, and I'm not, I am not number one, definitely not a bimbo. And I may be stupid in the uh that I can't do math and shit, uh, but I'm very smart at other things.

So Richard, whatever, he's no longer part of it. Um okay, so when we were in LA the last day, um, so I had made him that perfume, like the uh sex panther anchor man perfume, right? And I doxxed him incorrectly. Oh so he he lives near Alex Trebek's old house, and it is in Studio City Hills, and I dropped off the perfume in a um cologne in one of those like little library things, neighborhood things, and um it was all decked out, like I had a great, it was a and I just said like uh deliver to David Bryan Adams. So I don't think he got it. Um, and on Reddit, people are talking shit about him for being like, um, he kept flip-flopping. Uh, he would say recently, he would say, like, uh, Pax AM, the studio is like going under. We need help, like, we really need you to buy merch. We really need you to buy these guitars and the pinball machines and all that shit. And then in the next breath, I think even in the same paragraph, he would say something about that he was like rich and he lived in the Hollywood Hills and like brought up his money, and then again begging for fans to buy his shit. Um, and there's a lot of people making fun of that, you know. I think he's just he's he has some kind of mental illness, sure. And I it could be even like OCD because he uh reads the Reddits, he's obsessed with it, and then he'll talk about it like spam. Deuce, they're they're fucking awful. It's the only way I can see his stuff right now.

And he uh was talking about he said, I feel like an alien, uh, because they're not smoking inside, so he was like, he thought it was weird to go smoke outside, and then I was like, I feel like an alien too, you know, and then he told me that he's from Lebanon, and we had a good political discussion. Um anyway, so let me tell you about people who talk, yep, and it's another Dr. Donut. I'm not obsessed, I'm being respectful. Um, and I don't think I'm gonna dox this person either. Um, but a very famous uh band lead singer from the era when we were in college and everyone was listening to it. Um he moved here uh and he went to Tinderfire, and then afterwards I left work and went to Elray Court and he was there. And so I was like, hey, how are you doing? you know, and uh he came and talked with me, and um I acknowledged that uh my manager is friends with his girlfriend, and we looked at his girlfriend, and she is a badass, like she's a model, and she's very smart, and anyway, so he and I were like going deep because uh I just kept chatting with him, so he's like following me around, and then and then so I told him some bipolar stories. Um speaking of 9-11, this is bad. So I um was having a manic like episode coming on, and I thought I was being really fucking funny, and I was a school counselor and I didn't do much there. Anyway, I had to be present in a classroom and just watch the kids like make sure everything's cool, and so you know, they're all talking, they're on their phones, they're being crazy, and so I was like, you guys, 9-11 has happened again. They're like, What here? What's happening? Miss, what's happening? And it was like a second plane hit the twin towers. I just thought it was fucking hilarious, and then looking back, I'm like, thank god, like no one told on me for that.

Wow, and it was just really nice. He's he was very sweet, and then this guy also uh was in hot water during the Me To move movement, about the same time Ryan Adams was. Okay, so y'all can just figure that out yourselves.

And um, when I was in jail, so I got fucking arrested for this thing.

And then he handcuffed me, and they left one arm free, and so I brushed him while I was putting my hands behind my back. So I got charged with the felony battery on a police officer. So I got the felony squashed. I actually had court this morning. Oh wow, and um, it was the it's over the phone. Uh the officer just basically he gets to do some discovery and like interview witnesses. Um, but he's not, and there's that guy who was the witness, he's getting kicked out of here and he's just gonna be gone. Um, so anywho, here's the other fucking thing. Motherfucker dude was outside, it was like two nights ago, outside my trailer and knocking softly for like 15 minutes. Weird, and then he started bouncing on my um the stairs to get into this RB, and the whole place was shaking. And so I called Larry and I was like, dude, can you please go see like who is knocking on my door? And he went over and I could hear on the phone um what was happening, and like dude was extremely drunk and wasted, and then he claims he has no memory of doing that. Um, but that it's scary, man. I'm a single woman, I think, you know. Yeah, they could have been here, only was upset.
